A client of ours in the Maldon area is recruiting a Sales Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm and paying £28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Creating sales orders, invoicing customers and producing delivery paperwork.
2. Liaising with third party warehouse to book in/out stock and arrange transport.
3. Producing schedules based on order requirements for customers.
4. Adjusting and re-planning schedules to adhere to customer demand as well as supply chain adjustments.
5. Preparing and managing purchase orders with suppliers. Approving purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders and delivery notes.
6. Liaising with suppliers to arrange direct shipments to customers.
7. Ability to manage live projects.
8. Monitoring stock levels and partaking in stock takes.
9. Managing EDI orders.
10. Handling customer queries.
11. Providing cover for sales administration.
12. Providing cover for shipping administration.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Sales Administrator position:
1. Confident in dealing with customers and suppliers.
2. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
3. Good time management with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
4. Previous experience within an admin and secretarial role.
5. High attention to detail.
6. Advanced working knowledge of Excel is a must – SAP experience desirable but not essential.
7. Full driving license required.
