Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Business Analyst who specialises in Risk and Finance Change the Bank initiatives. The role will be to liaise with the Risk, Finance and Technology change teams to deliver the migration of the legacy Metals technology solution onto the strategic Murex application. The role will also involve supporting the Credit Risk and Collateral reporting and technology support teams. The project will result in a single integrated cross asset Global Markets trading platform providing greater business agility and faster time to market for new products.
The Risk division encompasses Business Continuity Management, Country Risk, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk and Physical Commodities Risk Assurance disciplines.
The Risk Change team’s role is to ensure that the Risk division can respond quickly to day-to-day market events by ensuring Risk Managers have the processes, systems and data required. The Risk Change team also make a significant contribution to longer term strategic and regulatory change initiatives.
The team’s primary stakeholders are the other departments within the Risk division: Risk Management (Market, Credit and Operational Risk), Methodology, Model Validation, and Reporting, Analysis and Validation (RAV). The Risk Change team also work closely with other departments such as Front Office, Finance, Technology and Operations.
Knowledge, technical skills and expertise:
* Solid understanding of and experience in Credit Risk principles, methodologies, measures, systems, operating models and processes.
* Good working knowledge of Base Metals business and associated operational processes.
* Desirable but not essential, good understanding of base metal clearing and margining processes.
* End-to-end hands on experience in large scale Commodity product migration projects from a Credit Risk perspective.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong MS Office and XML skills.
* Good working experience with FIS Adaptiv Credit Risk Manager and Adaptiv Analytics are advantageous.
