We have been appointed to the North West and Central Framework and allocated a bridge replacement project in Clifton, Penrith, Cumbria, over the M6 Motorway on the West Coast Mainline. We are now looking for a Sub Agent to join our Infrastructure Rail team in Penrith, Cumbria.
You will:
1. Manage and co-ordinate the construction team to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the project performance, programme and budget.
2. Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team and allocate resources.
3. Review contractual agreements and develop construction design input.
4. Produce and develop programmes and forecast budgets, reviewing these regularly, reporting changes and producing monthly reports.
5. Generate and review risk assessments, method statements, test plans, inspections and material approvals, ensuring that these are approved and adhered to.
6. Identify Temporary Works requirements and review and implement Design Briefs.
7. Ensure the construction team keep a full and accurate daily site diary.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or HND.
2. Experience of construction of Civil Engineering projects within a rail and/or Highways and managing construction teams.
3. Knowledge and understanding of construction contract law and forms.
4. Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.
5. Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, document control systems).
