The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As Third-Party Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/) Filling, Packing & Converting, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Support and coordinate daily operations, driving operational excellence at suppliers. Lead and support Change Management projects and product development. Drive and coordinate New Product Introduction projects, ensuring smooth transitions from scale-up to launch phases with relevant suppliers. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, reduce inventory and lead times, decrease costs, improve quality and optimize footprint/portfolio. Assess the technical capabilities of suppliers to ensure alignment with 3M's needs and requirements. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering, process or production engineering or a related discipline Fundamental experience in manufacturing, filling and project management. Demonstrated ability in strategic supplier management and driving operational excellence at third-party, while maintaining the capability to work independently. Deep knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes. Profund understanding of business conduct, financial and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards. High expertise in Management of Change and Continuous Improvement processes. Proficiency in English Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage (German, French, Polish).
