Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Assistant for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. If you are an experienced Finance Assistant looking to join a supportive and collaborative team with a clear route of progression and development, you would be encouraged to apply.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Process large volumes of financial transactions, including invoices and expenses.
2. Manage credit control activities.
3. Perform bank and account reconciliations.
4. Prepare and file VAT returns, including month-end reconciliations.
5. Assist managers with various client-related tasks.
6. Set up and maintain online accounting software.
7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Handle filing and document management tasks.
Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
1. Experience working within transactional finance.
2. Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
3. Numerate with an attention to detail.
4. Strong communication skills with ability to engage internal & external stakeholders.
5. A proactive approach to managing multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
