Thank you for taking the time to look at this role. Positive Futures are a young people's charity who have been supporting Liverpool's young people for the past two decades. More recently, Positive Futures have embarked on an incredible new social enterprise, Positive Futures Homes, with the ambition of providing the highest standard of young people's residential care.
Andersen James are thrilled to be support Positive Futures and Positive Futures Homes as they look to appoint a dynamic new Group CEO as the organisation embarks on an exciting new chapter.
Reporting into the Chair and Board of Trustees, the Group CEO position has overall management of the organisation and is responsible for developing the charities’ overall strategies and objectives, with a particular focus on driving growth and development and ensuring long term sustainability and success.
Overview of Responsibilities
Strategy
* Develop the charities’ strategic vision, working closely with the BOT and drive the development and execution of the charities’ high quality business strategies with both short and long term objectives.
* Ensure long term strategies for key fund raising priority areas.
* Deliver the charities’ strategic direction, ensuring the key objectives are met within timescales, financials and charities’ values.
Delivery
* Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy.
* Direct the charities’ operations, managing its resources, compliance with legal requirements and ensuring good practise in all aspects of its work.
Safeguarding
* Ensuring safeguarding remains a central focus of the organisation's culture, strategy and delivery.
* Ensure clear reporting policies for the organisation.
* Ensuring all child protection policies and procedures are fit for purpose and up to date.
Leadership
* Lead, develop and motivate, to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team
* Develop a culture of innovation and analysis, identifying new opportunities to drive growth and increase the impact of charitable funds.
Governance
* Ensure the charity delivers excellent governance and high ethical standards in all that it does, ensuring its legal obligations are met in compliance with all charity, company and other relevant law good practise guidelines.
* Ensure systems and structures are in place to enable the BOT to fulfil their legal and governance obligations. To develop a mutually trusting and effective working relationship with the Chair and BOT
