A global asset management firm is hiring a Financial / Legal Entity control position to support its EMEA operations. The role centres on overseeing the financial management of a portfolio of legal entities, ensuring robust financial control and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
You'll work cross-functionally with teams including legal, tax, treasury, and international finance, while also contributing directly to board-level reporting and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial oversight and control for a suite of legal entities, with a focus on EMEA and UK-regulated structures
* Manage monthly close activities, including preparation and review of P&L and balance sheet positions
* Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of core finance processes and audits
* Provide accounting input for new business lines and products, supporting implementation from a finance perspective
* Work closely with global teams to maintain strong governance, ensuring alignment across tax, treasury, and legal functions
* Drive improvements to reporting processes, internal controls, and system capabilities
* Deliver quarterly financial reporting packs and insights to entity boards and senior leadership
* Communicate technical accounting matters in a clear, accessible way to non-finance stakeholders
Experience Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent), with at least 2-5 years of post-qualification experience
* Solid grounding in financial reporting, control frameworks, and regulatory expectations
* Strong initiative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
* Confident communicator with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels
* Background in financial services or asset management is advantageous
