About the Role: As an Electrical Launch Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of electrical harness systems, transitioning from development to full-scale production. Key Responsibilities: Lead the launch readiness of electrical harnesses and associated software systems, ensuring seamless integration into vehicle platforms. Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution for harness-related quality and validation issues. Develop and maintain Perceived Quality Targets (PQT) databases for harness and software performance. Author and implement quality validation processes, including commissioning and dynamic validation. Support design reviews (PQT, DFMEA, lessons learned) for harness routing and software interactions. Conduct process validation (PFMEA, virtual builds) and establish harness-specific critical build databases. Rapidly diagnose and resolve harness software and connectivity issues, ensuring robust containment and corrective action. Lead global root cause investigations and deviation management related to electrical harnesses. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement permanent corrective actions. Your Skills & Experience: Proven experience in electrical harness launches within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of electrical harness architecture, connectivity, and associated software. Hands-on experience with harness validation, DFMEA, PFMEA, and issue resolution. Ability to communicate and present technical issues clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Experience working in high-pressure environments, delivering solutions to tight deadlines.
