Service Manager - CYPDS (Gr 10)
Description
The Service Manager for the Children and Young People's Disability Service (CYPDS) plays a vital role in coordinating, managing, and leading services aimed at enhancing the lives of children and young individuals with disabilities. This position requires a proactive and strategic individual who will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that services are delivered effectively and meet the diverse needs of the community. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and implementation of support strategies that promote independence, health, and well-being among service users. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, developing service policies, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize service impact. This dynamic role also involves engaging with families, caregivers, and external stakeholders to foster collaborative partnerships that enhance service delivery. Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of services for children and young people with disabilities, ensuring high-quality support.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and outcomes for service users.
Manage staff performance, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice frameworks.
Foster relationships with families, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness through data analysis and feedback collection.
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring optimal financial performance of the service.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Significant experience in managing services focused on children and young people with disabilities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in disability services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis and performance management techniques.
