As a Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals. We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. We also provide full training and encourage applications from those without previous experience but with a passion for care.

This position is part-time, working 4 shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

About You:

* Level 2 in Health & Social Care or care certificate (desirable, not essential).
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment (desirable, not essential).

* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home, participating in appropriate training and supporting staff in their development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities and develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support, ensuring adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies at all times.
* Provide evidence of any undertaken training.
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation to work in a safe environment.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
