Adaptable Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established business based in Liverpool to find a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
* Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and resolving any discrepancies
* Reconciling supplier statements and managing queries
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
* Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable
* If no experience, candidates must be studying AAT or be a finance-related graduate
* Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
