Magdalene is looking to recruit for a PMO Analyst to be part of our PMO team in the UK. A PMO Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Project Management Office by providing analytical expertise to projects and programs, ensuring adherence to project management standards and methodologies, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of PMO processes, governance, guidelines, and best practices. Through these activities, they promote the overall efficiency and effectiveness in projects. Your role will be remote with occasional visit to the client in Warwick and face to face team meetings/ workshops. This role fits within Magdalene’s National Grid contract team and will work collaboratively with the delivery team. Who are we? Magdalene operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. Covering the full network lifecycle, we deliver Managed Services and Projects for both fixed and mobile infrastructure networks across the operator and utility markets. What will your key responsibilities be? Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain regular project reports, dashboards, and scorecards for stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across project management systems. Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis as required. PMO Process and Standards: Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of PMO methodologies, processes, and standards. Monitor project compliance with PMO standards and procedures. Identify and recommend improvements to PMO processes and tools. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of PMO documentation. Project Support: Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams on PMO processes and tools. Facilitate governance meetings and workshops. Support risk and issue management processes. Assist in the on boarding process of new members of the team. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders at all levels. Build and maintain positive working relationships with project teams and other departments. Tool and System Administration: Assist in the administration and maintenance of project management tools and systems (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow). Provide user support and training on PMO tools. Help to ensure that the PMO tools are utilised to their full potential. What competencies are we looking for? Proven experiencein a PMO. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power Point). Knowledge of project management methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Experience with project management software and tools. Experience in the creation of project documentation. Preferred Skills and Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification. Experience with specific project management software (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project Online). Experience in change management. Experience in portfolio management.
