Job Description
The team you will be joining: KYC-Platform
The KYC Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining the systems that power our Know Your Customer (KYC) processes at Wise. We develop scalable solutions to ensure the efficient onboarding and verification of our customers while meeting regulatory requirements. Our mission is to provide an operational and technical framework for crafting KYC business processes, ensuring scalability, transparency, and ease of use. Our team works on a wide range of projects including data processing pipelines, building a flow engine, and integration with various other services. The team is equally split between the London and Tallinn location.

4. You'll help us scale up and build world-class KYC functionality by finding solutions to our technical challenges and opportunities.
5. You'll be an ambassador of our team, sharing new features and product updates with all involved stakeholders.
6. You'll be able to understand, handle, forward and prioritize incoming feature requests.
Qualifications
What we expect from you:
You have 4+ years of experience with Java and the Spring framework.
- A strong product mindset and passion for our framework, prioritizing work with the stakeholder in mind and making data-driven decisions to address pain points.
- Great communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- You believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback to ensure high quality of our framework that powers multiple teams.
- You enjoy writing testable code.
- Experience with distributed and concurrent systems, preferably messaging with Kafka.
- Interest in framework development.
- Interest in system integration patterns.
- Curiosity for new technologies, patterns, and approaches.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, contribute, and maintain scalable KYC solutions on a framework level to enable efficient customer onboarding and verification.
2. Develop and maintain high-throughput data processing connected to multiple domains.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
4. Identify areas of improvement, propose ideas for enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the KYC platform.
