Our Client, one of leading suppliers of water efficiency technologies in the UK, are recruiting a Service Engineer (Plumber) on a permanent basis. They are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer (Plumber) to join their team in the Uxbridge area. You must be a self-motivated, team leader orientated engineer. As you will be required to carry out: Site surveys System installations Commissioning Planned maintenance Reactive maintenance Fault finding After sales Product test and repair Travelling with overnight stays On call Rota 1 day a week office work Specific training on site for the product line, is provided during a 3 month training and evaluation period. Work experience as field service supervisor for pumping systems, cooling systems, or other similar technologies working in a construction environment is essential. Adequate professional qualifications as a plumber NVQ 2 minimum (JIB Plumber) Team Leader with excellent working standards who can also work on their own to deliver expected results (SMSTS advantageous) High level of motivation and interest in self-progress Experience in providing services to the building industry with high confidence and excellent customer relationship skills. General computer knowledge (MS office) and communication skills. Must be able to read 2D and 3D drawings Experience in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling systems is advantageous, but not necessary Full valid manual driving licence As part of this role you will be required to work a 39-hour week, Pension after a qualifying period. 22 days holiday per year Bank Holidays (Xmas Shutdown). Company mobile and travel expenses will be paid (Company vehicle supplied depending on location). Some working away from home is required as they are a National Company. On call after training on a monthly rota. Please note you must be in commutable distance to London as most of the work is based in Central London The role is mobile based with the occasional office day based in UB6. Minimum NVQ level 2 plumbing and ideally a valid plumbers CSCS/JIB Card
