We are looking for a full time Marketing Assistant to join the team at our Woodbridge support office. As Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team’s diverse initiatives, campaigns and communications, whilst ensuring seamless coordination and liaison with internal teams, garden centres and our suppliers.
This role involves managing and supporting various aspects of multi-channel customer communication and marketing operations, focusing on both print and digital platforms. Key responsibilities include:
1. Marketing Material Development: Coordinating with the design studio, stakeholders, and suppliers to create and deliver bespoke marketing materials for 19 garden centres and a website.
2. Digital Communication: Writing and managing email briefs, overseeing social media content and customer interactions, and maintaining website accuracy with updates and guides.
3. Customer Engagement: Monitoring and reporting feedback through channels like TripAdvisor and Google My Business and supporting membership initiatives such as the Privilege Club.
4. PR and Content Creation: Preparing press releases, liaising with PR agencies, and producing internal communications like newsletters and marketing bulletins.
5. Instore and Central Support: Managing signage, consumables, gift card logistics, and courier processes to support operational needs.
6. Budget and Procurement Management: Raising purchase orders, handling stock logistics, and collaborating with accounts for budget tracking and reporting.
The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing and operational materials.
Key skills and experience required for success in this role are:
* A team player with experience of working within a marketing assistant/administrator role
* Passionate about marketing and delivering excellent customer experiences
* Excellent communication style, verbal and written and a creative thinker with strong copywriting and content creation skills
* Adaptable, flexible, and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and able to effectively prioritise workload of self and team
* IT literate with the ability to learn and work with in-house systems as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills preferred and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and content management system software
