The role:
As a Housing Manager you will oversee the daily operations of a housing management team and ensure the delivery of exceptional housing services. In collaboration with the Senior Housing Manager and Head of Housing, you will support strategic initiatives, manage complex cases, and provide leadership. Your goal will be to enhance customer satisfaction and improve housing performance.
We offer hybrid working but there is an expectation that you attend the office twice a week, and additionally as needed.

Although not an exhaustive list, key responsibilities include:
* Managing housing and anti-social behaviour delivery collaboratively with the Senior Housing Manager, ensuring a consistent approach.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housing management teams, managing complex and high-priority cases.
* Set clear objectives for the team, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and housing policies and procedures.
* Serve as the escalation point for customer enquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
* Manage budgets, ensuring spend aligns with the available budget.
* Manage and report on Key Performance Data in your areas of delivery.
* Lead projects to improve service quality and customer satisfaction, incorporating customer feedback and data insights.

* Experience in a management role, ideally within the housing sector.
* Experience in problem solving complex and sensitive issues.
* Knowledge, experience or understanding of working with people with complex needs.
* A good knowledge of current best practice and regulation in social housing.
* Experience of building effective partnerships and links with a range of organisations.
* Empathetic and patient with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
* Resilient and able to handle challenging situations calmly.
* A flexible approach to working hours to support customer engagement and community development events.
The successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a car. A basic DBS check will be obtained upon successful appointment of this role.
