Day rate: £400-550/day
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days
Role Overview
As Grid Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and expertise on all matters relating to a range of renewable energy projects and technology types. This includes maintaining competency and knowledge of both distribution and transmission connection requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the grid connections process for multiple projects from concept through to delivery.
• Prepare and Communicate contract documentation, scope(s) of work, technical requirements, design requirements and specifications.
• Discuss and resolve any technical, legal or commercial queries found within connection offer documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body would be an advantage.
• Experience with Grid connections on utility scale Renewable projects NEEDED.
• Candidates must be based in United Kingdom.
• NEBOSH or IOSH (or equivalent) is desirable.
