Role: Team Assistant Location: Central London Salary: £35k - £45k (DOE) Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days a week in-office Team Assistant – Venture Capital Firm A leading venture capital firm is seeking a pro-active and forward-thinking team assistant to join their dynamic and collaborative team. Based in their sleek, open-plan offices in the heart of central London, the firm is passionate about innovation, creativity, and high-level performance. They are looking for a team assistant who can mirror this ethos and help drive their success. What you’ll do: You will be working closely with one other team assistant, sharing responsibilities to provide support to two general partners and ad-hoc senior team members. The role is highly varied, and multitasking is essential. Core duties include: Diary management and coordination for the general partners and ad-hoc senior team members. Administrative support, including liaising with potential investee companies, preparing papers, handling logistics, organizing conference calls and video conferences, arranging refreshments, and managing printing, copying, binding, and expenses. Building and maintaining relationships with the administrative staff at portfolio companies. Managing non-disclosure agreements and ensuring they are in place as needed. Coordinating national and international business trips, including air travel, hotel bookings, transfers, and preparing itineraries. Desired experience: The ideal candidate will have up to three years of experience in a team assistant or office support role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. A proactive and positive attitude is essential, as well as the ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic setting. You should be confident in handling a wide variety of tasks, from diary management to event coordination and administrative support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook is a must. Knowledge of venture capital or professional services is desirable but not essential. A high-energy and positive outlook is crucial. You should be a team player, happy to adapt to different tasks, and confident in managing responsibilities independently when needed.
