As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a portfolio of Capital Projects across the Trusts footprint, ranging from building refurbishments and expansions to infrastructure upgrades and new construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Estates/Capital Project Management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects within budget and on schedule. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, have a solution focussed approach, self-motivated and can challenge and influence to bring others with you to enable effective and sustainable change. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and delivery of estates projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and Trust policies. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, identifying and mitigating risks to project delivery. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met and stakeholder expectations are managed effectively. Oversee the procurement process for estates projects, including tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor selection. Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure works are carried out to the required standards and specifications. Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations as required. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
