Job summary Surrey Downs Health & Care We are a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and rehabilitation assistants integrated within the Primary Care Network and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Rehabilitation is offered to those who are at risk of hospital admission or recovering from illness/post-hospital admission across the place of Surrey Downs. Coordinated care to maximize independence by offering rapid multidisciplinary assessment and support. Providing essential moving and handling equipment and liaising with adult social care teams around additional support requirements as well as short term rehabilitation. You will drive forward our Community Therapy services across Surrey Downs. Main duties of the job We are looking for dynamic individuals who will play a key role in driving forward our Community Therapy services in Surrey Downs. You must have broad clinical experience including frailty and falls and enjoy the challenges of providing rehabilitation to people in their own homes. You will be supported by the Clinical Lead and experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists within the team and will have professional OT support provided by Senior OTs in the organisation. As part of your role, you will be responsible for training and supervising Band 6 Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Physiotherapists, and you will play part in developing the OT service within the team. You will also be committed to the 'Fair Share' model of development of student placements within the team.
