What youll do as a Delivery Coach
As a Delivery Coach, your main aim will be to provide ongoing support, communication, coaching, and guidance to apprentices and graduates, as well as their line managers across our sites in Scotland. With around 100 sites across Scotland, the role will require regular travel from the borders to the highlands, as well as ad-hoc travel across the UK.
Your role will focus on supporting apprentices and graduates throughout their learning journey to succeed. Youll provide tailored guidance, monitor progress and help resolve challenges. Youll also work closely with line managers and learning providers ensure the programme runs smoothly.
Here are some of the duties your role will include:
Utilise apprentice information to monitor the progress of apprentices and build bespoke solutions for individual apprentices/graduates exceeding or not meeting expectations. To include monitoring student progress, ILPs (individual learner plans) to conform with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and government policy.
Work closely with the administration team to monitor that all administrative requirements of the apprentice/graduate journey are carried out, including enrolment, work/training placements, undertake competence declaration sign off meetings, Learner Management System submissions, so that all successfully complete the programme.
Build strong relations with apprentices with apprentices, graduates, line managers and key stakeholders to support successful programme completion
Monitor progress and create tailored solutions for learners to keep them on track or help them exceed expectations
Be a go to expert for line managers on apprenticeship and graduate scheme queries
Champion equity, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of the apprentice and graduate experience
Identify and report safeguarding concerns immediately, following appropriate procedures
Collaborate with the relevent teams to ensure all aspects of the apprentice journey are completed.
Continuously improve the apprentice and graduate experience., Location: Glasgow, with regular travel to our Scotland based sites and ad-hoc travel across the UK
Ability to travel nationally to meet allocated Apprentices/Graduates.

Digital information and communication skills, including Excel, Outlook, Learner Management Systems, and social media.

Experience of the rail engineering or operations environment
Experience of managing or delivering training
Previous experience as an apprentice or graduate
Level 3 Award in Education and Training or Coaching
