We're looking for a Technical Trainer to join a passionate, forward-thinking training team, delivering high-quality, on-site learning to apprentices and early-career engineers nationally.
With a strong background in the water industry, whether that's mechanical, electrical or process, you'll bring your practical experience to life in a hands-on, engaging way.
As a Technical Trainer you will be:
1. Delivering structured, site-based technical training to apprentices and trainees in the water sector
2. Supporting learners with both theoretical and practical development across a range of engineering disciplines
3. Travelling to sites across the UK, typically staying away 2 weeks out of every 4 (we plan in advance and minimise travel wherever possible)
4. Playing a key role in shaping the skills and safety awareness of tomorrow's workforce
As a Technical Trainer you will be able to demonstrate:
1. A solid engineering background, ideally mechanical, electrical, or process within the water industry
2. Excellent communication and people skills; you’ll be a natural at making technical content accessible and engaging
3. Previous training or mentoring experience is a bonus, but full training will be given
4. A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to travel as part of your working routine
