DIGITAL LEARNING MANAGER Location: CHANEL House of Learning, London UK Reports to: Senior Lead, Learning & Development Contract : Full-time, Fixed term contract until December 2025 (Maternity Cover) Your role CHANEL: As part of the Learning & Development function, our Digital Learning team is an integral driver of our interconnected Learning experiences supporting in the delivery of business priorities across all 3 retail divisions (Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewellery and Fragrance & Beauty) and corporate Learning & Development. The Digital team supports the 3 divisional learning apps and corporate learning app ‘Bloom’ to deliver a ‘One-House’ synergy and consistency to learning. This role requires collaboration with the divisional and corporate training teams and partners across all divisions and functions within the business as well as consulting on broader business projects, advising the most effective interconnected learning solutions for optimal performance. The digital team provide expert guidance to maximise learner engagement and social learning, utilise learning app features and pathways. The team works to support in the adaptation of global learning content and assist with creation of local assets, supporting a wide range of innovative project categories including brand & product, collections, savoir-faire, events, style and client experiences. What impact you can create at CHANEL: The Digital Learning Manager will have a deep understanding of the business priorities across Divisional & Corporate functions and use considered analysis to inform current and future digital learning programmes and impact. You will effectively integrate business and industry insight to design, create and implement an innovative digital learning programme that contributes to the delivery of goals and that supports performance and track and support the lifecycle of digital learning initiatives from concept through to deployment and evaluation. Reporting to the Learning & Development Senior Lead and working in partnership with the training team, you will support and drive learning transformation. Integral to success are to influence and shape effective partnerships across 3 divisions and corporate functions, including Retail, Marketing, Style expertise, Client Relations, People and Organisation, Sustainability, Legal and IT. Key responsibilities: Retail & Corporate Learning Integrate data insights & analytical expertise into all digital learning decision-making. Use learning app metrics to inform and drive learning projects, learning programming & priorities. To work in partnership with your L&D team to ensure one-house consistency in approach. Design, create, and manage digital learning content and resources collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Ensure that all content is current, relevant, and aligned with Chanel's brand standards and learning objectives. Share relevant, data driven digital learning insights with UK (& Region where applicable) Leadership, a cting as an ambassador for digital & interconnected learning. Digital Learning competencies Proactively coach colleagues on advancing digital learning competencies; identifying required capabilities and knowledge gaps and implementing effective support to ensure efficient collaboration with relevant divisions/departments. Provide training and support to new users of the digital learning platforms and act as representative in internal meetings to introduce learning platforms or deliver updates. Innovate to elevate Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning programs and make improvements as needed. Elevate the value of data to inform collaborative and individual decision-making in the learning and development team. Elevate interconnected onboarding experiences with digital learning to support every employee to thrive and drive innovative experiences in key seminars with immersive and engaging learning. Retail Learning App Management Manage the Content Roadmap : Oversee planning, development, and release of digital learning content, ensuring alignment with business goals and learning needs at both global and local levels. Content Creation and Management : Lead the creation of local digital modules and support the adaptation of global modules to fit local needs. Content Lifecycle Management : Ensure content is regularly updated, refined, and optimized to maintain engagement, relevance, consistency, and quality. System Monitoring and Issue Resolution : Anticipate, identify, and resolve technical issues of digital learning platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience. Data Analytics & Performance Measurement : Develop and deliver reports and track key performance indicators and learning engagement metrics, support teams in measuring the impact of digital learning initiatives and ensure data-driven decision-making. Database Management & Optimization : Ensure the accuracy, organisation, and cleanliness of learning databases to optimize efficiency and usability. What will you bring to the role?
