As a member of an award-winning and respected IT Support team, you will be the first point of contact for any IT queries globally, ensuring the business operates smoothly and efficiently by offering support, solutions, and advice. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. IT hardware and software support, including desk phones, phone systems, iPads, iPhones, and laptop base builds.
2. Resolution of all IT queries and escalation as necessary.
3. Enabling the business and wider group to work without interruption.
4. Support for applications, systems, and servers.
5. Assisting in the rollout of essential maintenance and wider projects.
Ideally, you will have and be:
1. Qualified to A level or equivalent in an IT-related discipline.
2. CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
3. Understanding of ITIL methodology.
4. Interest and understanding of the Microsoft desktop environment.
5. Exposure to Windows Operating Systems.
6. Troubleshooting skills for the MS Office Application Suite.
7. Logical problem-solving strategies.
8. Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
9. Experience in first-line IT Support.
10. Familiarity with remote control applications such as TeamViewer and RDP.
11. Experience with MS Exchange 365 and MS Teams.
12. Knowledge of Xerox print solutions, including replacing consumables.
13. Experience with MS Server Operating Systems.
14. Ability to open a computer and confidently identify hardware components.
15. Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
16. Understanding of PowerShell.
17. Experience with image deployment using Paragon or equivalent image software.
18. Familiarity with Mimecast.
19. Understanding of VOIP and IVR telephony structures.
20. Experience with Datto backup solutions.
21. Familiarity with Sophos or other cloud-based antivirus solutions.
