IKC Industries is a national leader in the manufacture and construction of intensive farming facilities. With an expanding portfolio and numerous upcoming projects, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team.
Duties include:
As a Construction Project Manager at IKC Industries, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of intensive farming facility projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and safety standards. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. You will be responsible for the overall management of the construction project and the performance management of construction personnel.
* Manage on-site teams, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage.
* Monitor project progress and oversee timelines, identifying and resolving any potential delays or budget overruns to meet client expectations.
* Interact with construction crews, principal contractors, and customers to identify any issues or additional resource requirements to align on project goals and progress.
* Be actively involved in the development, review, and continual improvement of safe work procedures, and hazard identification and controls in relation to construction processes.
Key Requirements:
* Willingness to work on rural interstate locations.
* Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate construction teams and multiple trades.
* Ability to work autonomously to manage projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Must have experience in the construction industry to be considered for this role (minimum 5 years experience).
* Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders.
* Must hold an appropriate work visa to work in Australia and a valid Australian driver’s license.
