* Have worked on drawing project portals within the construction industry.
* Help put together RAMS for new projects.
* Previous administrative experience within the M&E industry preferred.
* Ensure we record information for accreditations CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline etc.
* Fluent English, written and spoken.
* Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and adaptability.
* Ability to work on own initiative and accurately under pressure.
* Excellent computer knowledge including MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Overview
An established Mechanical Contractor based in Loughton, London is looking for a Document Controller/Site Administrator to be based on site on our new project in Birmingham and our other projects in the pipeline in the Midlands. We are currently setting up a Birmingham office.
Projects are mainly within the residential market and involve both new-build and refurbishments, encompassing heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, hot and cold-water services, drainage, sprinklers, and gas supplies. Project sizes range from 100 to 650 units. Having an excellent reputation, they offer significant opportunities for development and progression.
Link365 is seeking a Document Controller/Site Administrator ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be looking to progress their career and develop within the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services sector.
Main Duties
* Provide administrative support to the site team and maintain a professional level of customer service, including telephone support for customer inquiries while ensuring an efficient and pleasant manner.
* Assist the project team by preparing and compiling handover documentation.
* Maintain specific contracts effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure contractors are kept up to date.
* Schedule appointments and meetings, ensuring diaries are kept current.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Fully support the project team and perform allocated duties.
