About the role
* Leading the origination, structuring and end-to-end execution of M&A deals.
* Managing client relationships and overseeing all client communications together with the other senior members of the Advisory team.
* Ability to develop new client relationships as well as cultivate existing ones.
* Working on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, including full responsibility for all key aspects in the execution of deals as well as leading all negotiations, and in particular:
* Supervising and taking full responsibility of financial valuations, fairness opinions exercises and capital structure analyses.
* Coordinating and supervising all team members involved in a project or deals.
* Overseeing the preparation of detailed pitch books, presentations, and transaction-related documents.
* Identifying and generating new business opportunities / ideas and cross-sell opportunities with other IBD products.
Key Qualifications
* Prior M&A experience in an advisory or investment banking role; with a focus on the renewables/power, TMT and/or Infrastructure sectors (Digital infrastructure, Transport, Energy infrastructure), and relevant deal experience.
* Ability to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to the client and lead to the expansion of the business.
* Ability to provide direction and leadership in order to build a positive team environment and to foster strong relationships between individuals and teams, across different geographies.
* Ability to lead client presentations, and simultaneously manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Highly proficient in financial, valuation, and capital structure analysis.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Fluency in written and oral communications skills in English language. Knowledge of other European languages beneficial though not strictly mandatory.
* Team player, motivating the juniors and actively participating in the training of the team.
