Quality Inspector£27,000 per annum08:30am - 17:00pm, Monday - FridayWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that all incoming supplier deliveries are checked for accuracy and quality, guaranteeing they meet the required specifications. The role involves monitoring both inbound and outbound product quality and key inputs throughout the production cycle, with a focus on inspections, analysis, and reporting non-conformance issues. You will also support investigative actions to resolve any quality discrepancies.Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage supplier deliveries and coordinate with drivers on site to ensure efficient processing while prioritising safety.
2. Oversee bulk tanker operations within working hours, ensuring correct material handling, sampling, and testing are carried out, and completing inspections and documentation to meet permit requirements.
3. Ensure the DSR (Delivery Site Requirements) process is followed by all tanker off loaders, reporting issues to relevant departments, and maintaining up-to-date training materials and records.
4. Receive, log, and inspect palletised deliveries, confirming product quality and specifications, and notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies.
5. Update booking systems with delivery information, ensuring delivery notes match purchase orders, and track missing documents as needed.
