Role: Senior SEO Manager/Strategist

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience)
Job Role
Seed is on the lookout for a Senior SEO Manager/Strategist to lead and deliver impactful SEO strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients. This role is perfect for an experienced SEO professional with a strong strategic mindset, technical expertise, and client-facing experience. You’ll elevate our best practices, provide support and share knowledge with the team, helping Seed to adapt to a changing digital landscape and evolving strategies.
As a Senior SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing SEO strategies, working directly with clients to ensure their organic growth objectives are met. You will lead SEO accounts, provide strategic recommendations, oversee performance reporting, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance our overall SEO offering while working with our paid media teams for cross-service strategic insights.

Responsibilities
No two days are the same at Seed, and we actively encourage experimentation, allowing you freedom in your role. Some of the daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities will include:
* Creating strategies across all core pillars of SEO for our range of ecommerce and lead generation clients
* Collecting, reporting and analysing data to inform a client’s strategy and KPI’s
* Setting up project roadmaps and briefing members of the wider team
* Understanding key technical SEO projects and their impact on overall strategy and results
* Work alongside our digital PR lead, assisting in the ideation of organic campaigns and content strategies
* Work with the wider SEO and business development team to drive our service offering and expand our client base
* Help the SEO service hit internal business goals for revenue and retention
* Keep up to date with industry news and key developments
* Create new ways of working, and iterate and refine our existing processes
* Lead and develop SEO strategies tailored to client objectives, ensuring sustained organic growth
* Mentor team members, sharing knowledge and supporting their development
The Requirements
Some of our requirements are:
* 5+ years of experience within SEO agencies or in-house
* In-depth knowledge of a range of SEO tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, SEranking, SEOMonitor, Ahrefs, etc)
* Proficient in Google’s suite of tools
* Proficiency in self management
* Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals across different pillars (strategy, content, technical, digital PR)
* A drive to continue learning and experimenting with SEO
* Strong technical SEO knowledge, including site audits, structured data, page speed optimisation, internationalisation and site migrations
* Proven track record in driving organic results across a number of different clients
* Understanding of other services, how they work with SEO and experience with creating cross-channel strategies
* A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for testing and optimising SEO tactics
