Key Responsibilities: Advanced Occupational Therapy Assessments: Deliver comprehensive assessments and treatments for inpatients post-trauma and elective procedures. Patient Care Delivery: Provide expert Occupational Therapy services to patients on trauma and elective wards, aiding recovery and supporting timely discharge planning. Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Therapy team and other multidisciplinary professionals, where flexibility and creativity are highly valued. Discharge Planning: Play a key role in discharge planning, ensuring smooth transitions from hospital to home for patients. Evidence-Based Practice: Drive patient outcomes using evidence-based practices, drawing on your expertise and recent experience in acute inpatient T&O wards. Qualifications and Experience: HCPC Registration: Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is required. Relevant Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within an acute inpatient Trauma & Orthopaedic ward setting.
