We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients' distribution centre based in Grantham as a Drivers Mate, working Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress in their career.
Drivers Mate Pay
* Drivers Mates days £11.44/h
Drivers Mate Shifts
* Monday to Friday 06:00am starts
* Working between 8-12 hours
Drivers Mate Responsibilities
1. Taking care when transporting goods
2. Heavy lifting and manual handling on a regular basis
3. Dealing with large alcohol crates/kegs etc.
4. General warehouse duties
5. Carrying out routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab
6. Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure
Essential Experience/Qualities for a Drivers Mate
1. Great work ethic
2. Knowledge and experience of manual handling
3. Attention to detail when delivering goods
4. Ability to work in a high demanding role
5. Good communication skills
6. A team player, capable of working alone or in a team
7. Be able to use own initiative
8. MUST have a desire to progress
