Training and Education Programme Co-Ordinator

We're seeking a Training and Education Programme Co-ordinator to provide a broad range of business and administrative support to the medical and dental workforce within the training and education (WT&E) team working across the South West. The role is based within the Primary and Community Care Team.
The post-holder will be a key member of the team whose overarching goal will be to support the delivery of an exciting workforce programme supporting predominantly the GP training programme team across the SW.
This is an exciting time to be involved in the changes that are happening in medical education nationally, including supporting local innovations and initiatives across Primary Care education in the Southwest through a period of significant expansion.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will work with the Education Programme Lead to support the operational delivery of medical and dental education programmes mainly in the area of General Practice training and other primary care programmes of work.
You can expect to be involved in national recruitment, programme management, and to implement successful delivery of assessments, rotations, OOP, IDT, LTFT throughout a learner's journey.
There will be a requirement to organise and support some of the school's regular meetings and provide administrative support for our educators connected to the team's workstreams, which may include small projects, data reporting, and surveys.
You may be required to support financial activity by raising POs and working within the Oracle system and with SBS and PCSE colleagues.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a professional with demonstrable initiative and proven competence in managing a range of administrative tasks and with great organisational skills in terms of managing workflow and prioritisation.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. In addition, they must have excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
An understanding of working in the NHS, robust attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach is essential. Support to develop existing skills will be provided. A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook and Excel, will be required when recording and manipulating data, budget planning, and organising meetings.

Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ 4 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
Experience
* Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Demonstrate experience in dealing with the public and managing sensitive and confidential information.
* Demonstrable experience of minute taking and producing reports.
* Previously worked in a similar position within the public healthcare sector environment.
