In our HR Operations teams, we provide services and advice across the lifecycle of employees, including issuing letters when staff leave or change jobs in our clients’ organisations. We also process all types of absences, maintain essential information relating to employment and provide advice and support on some of our clients’ HR policies. In our Onboarding teams, we ensure that new joiners to our clients’ organisations have a smooth transition to their new roles, including issuing contracts. We make sure they are enrolled to systems and payroll efficiently and work with our clients to ensure that new joiners have the appropriate rights to work in their organisations. This is an important operational delivery role which is focused on leading and managing a small team of administrators, supporting and enabling them to deliver high quality services and achieve service delivery targets. You’ll be responsible for developing your team and proactively managing their performance, addressing instances of positive or negative performance, capability, and conduct in-line with UKSBS policies and procedures. The Team Leader will play a crucial leadership role in enabling and motivating their team to achieve various delivery targets. You’ll be responsible for fostering a culture where fairness, inclusion, wellbeing, and purpose are prioritised, and development is encouraged. You will be accountable for the day-to-day management of the team, including ensuring that work is effectively allocated and completed and that resources are appropriately distributed. You will work alongside the SME for the team in implementing a training and coaching plan to ensure the team is skilled and equipped to deliver our work. To do this role well you will need: Ability and skills to successfully manage and develop a small operational team effectively Ability to influence others to achieve service delivery targets Customer focused with a positive, proactive and solutions driven approach Experience of coaching to enhance the skills of our team, including improving softer skills like communication and organisation A fine eye for detail and a focus on improving quality to improve customer satisfaction An analytical mindset, including the ability to produce reports, demonstrating team performance and service volumes Confident in communicating with customers and internal stakeholders by phone and email, in a clear and concise manner to manage expectations Naturally motivated to seek out opportunities to improve service delivery and be curious Ability to be a team player, willing to deputise or step in to service delivery during periods of high volumes To find out more about the skills, knowledge and behaviours we’re looking for, read the detailed job description. Working pattern Our standard working week is 37 hours, Monday to Friday and we promote a hybrid working model which offers flexibility to work at home and come into the office one day a week. Some of the team work remotely this way and some of us prefer to be in the office more often. We think it is important that you have the option to choose what works best for you and the business.
