Great opportunity to join a specialist asset finance company as a Relationship Manager. The successful candidate would be joining the Direct and Online sales team and reporting to the Head of Online & Direct Sales. Ideal candidates will have experience in a customer facing role in the financial services sector, candidates with transferable sales role experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities of Relationship Manager:
* Supporting and promoting the sale of excavators and related equipment through hire purchase and lease
* Following our compliant sales process to support our clients in choosing the right finance option for their business.
* Negotiating finance rates and co-ordinating each stage of the client transaction.
* A high level of telephone interaction with clients, external sales team, and dealer sales personnel
* Achieving profit and margin objectives
* Building relationships with new and existing clients through regular calls and emails and responding to inbound enquiries
* Nurturing existing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel
* Build, manage and maintain sales pipeline
Competences and behaviours needed to be Relationship Manager:
* Driven approach, self-motivated, with a positive attitude
* Confident, resilient, inquisitive
* Ability to prioritise and work professionally whilst managing multiple clients demands
Qualifications & Experience required to be Relationship Manager:
* A levels/BTEC
* Ideally, proven success in meeting sales quotas in a financial services environment.
* Knowledge of hire purchase, leasing, or B2B lending
* Understanding financial service regulations and standard industry policies
