Our client, a distributor of specialist and high-quality equipment and services to the medical industry, is currently going through a rapid growth period and are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join their growing and busy team. They currently have an opening for a full-time Sales Operations Executive based from their offices in Quedgeley.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist with facilitating sales activities and aid in the progression of sales opportunities from lead generation to closure. As an executive you will work closely with sales representatives, management and cross-functional teams to ensure that sales strategies are effectively implemented and optimised.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support: Assist the sales team in managing leads, tracking sales activities, and ensuring timely follow-up on opportunities.
2. Quoting: Producing quotations for new & repeat business for sales, service, rental & repair.
3. Order Processing: Recording requests and processing purchase orders when received through relevant internal process.
4. Mailbox Management: To monitor all shared email inboxes and action incoming items appropriately.
5. Inventory Management: Working with the Head of Inventory to appropriately allocate assets / stock to orders.
6. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information to enhance customer satisfaction and support the sales process.
7. Data Management: Help maintain accurate records of accounts, sales activities, customer interactions and sales forecasts.
8. Training & Onboarding: Support the training and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring they are familiar with processes, tools, and best practices.
Candidate Attributes:
1. Previous experience in sales based role.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Good level of IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft applications.
4. Strong attention to detail with ability to work to deadlines.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience + private medical insurance, 25 days holidays + bank holidays and team and social events.
