South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust are looking for dedicated and forward-thinking individuals to join our Acute Paediatric Team based at Warwick Hospital. The applicant will preferably be a registered Nurse Associate with an interest in working with Children and Young people. However, Nurse Associates due to qualify will be considered.
The Paediatric Unit is comprised of: MacGregor Ward, a 17 inpatient Paediatric beds (including a High Dependency Bed), a Paediatric Outpatient Area, and a 5 bedded Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU).

Main duties of the job
The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.
Nursing associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.

They identify what nursing associates can contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and service users, and apply across all health and care settings. Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE level A - C English and Maths or equivalent
* Nursing Associate Foundation Degree/Higher Apprenticeship
Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare
* Experience as part of a team
