About the Role:
We are looking to recruit a Global Head of Sales who will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to accelerate growth, strengthen customer relationships, and maximise revenue worldwide.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the current business portfolio of distributors and customers.
* Establish, develop and generate new business within a specified list of global distributors to ensure targeted growth within the region of 20% pa.
* Grow the sales function by identifying areas for additional resources and building a strong team.
* Establish, develop and maintain successful relationships at all levels, from Board to Field Sales to develop new business opportunities.
* Generate new sales opportunities from current and new customers using targeted prospecting, leads from tradeshows, events, and campaigns.
* Identify and develop new potential distributors.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of success in leading a business salesforce in a similar role in the process manufacturing industry.
* Proven leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
* Experience in expansion and resourcing in line with growth.
* Proven ability to independently manage challenging situations with customers, suppliers, and employees.
* Experience and knowledge of end user and distributor selling, developing end users to specify products via a distributor and targeted sales growth developed from specific accounts.
* Proactive approach and ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions in line with agreed policy and objectives.
* High-level organisational and time management skills and the ability to pragmatically assess and manage priorities.
* The ability to assess customer demand commercially, alongside cost implications, and to negotiate skilfully and confidently.
* Good financial acumen.
