The Information Team are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join their innovative, award winning team as a Junior Information Analyst.
The ability of the Trust to analyse and manage its clinical and business operations is critical to our success as a Foundation Trust. As a Junior Analyst, your role will be to support the Central Analysis Team, creating reports and analysis which supports the Trust in a variety of means, from Quality Improvement Projects and Performance monitoring through to submissions of National data returns and more. The Junior Information Analyst will undertake the following key duties:
· Responding to ad-hoc requests from staff members
· Submission of National returns
· Using SQL to extract and transform data
· Using Excel and Power BI to create attractive and useable reports for use by operational staff
· Contributing fully to our process for documenting our work, and regularly reviewing and streamlining our reports
· Responsible for supporting the delivery of specific projects including investigation and resolution of data collection issues
· Documentation of own creative thinking and technical implementations to a level that will be understood by others
· Establishment of processes to ensure reports are produced efficiently, effectively, and successfully using appropriate business intelligent (BI) tools
· Working closely with other information colleagues as required
· Undertaking and enhancing inhouse professional development toolkits
· Ensure procedure guides are complete and up-to-date, ensuring validation checks are included and agreed
Working with others to identify and improve processes both internally and externally
