The ideal Nursery Manager will embody our educational ethos and company values, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as positive, secure, and enriching experiences for children, families and staff members alike. Main duties and responsibilities•Execute effective marketing strategies to promote the nursery, attract prospective families and maintain a positive image in the community. •Always promotes the nursery in a positive and professional manner. •Manage the admissions enquiry process from lead generation to sign up. •Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of legislation affecting the early years sector. This involves implementing effective policies and procedures, conducting regular checks, and engaging with local authorities and sector updates. •Establish a robust staff structure that ensures the setting operates smoothly and effectively even in the absence of leadership, fostering an environment where roles and responsibilities are well understood and teamwork is emphasized to maintain continuity and high standards of care. •Maintain a positive work environment and foster a cohesive team spirit, encouraging communication and collaboration among staff, addressing any conflicts or issues that arise, and organising team-building activities to create a cohesive and supportive team. •Work in partnership with parents and carers to maximise learning outcomes. •Ensure that regular feedback is given to parents about their child’s development and progress.
