Are you an HR Advisor looking for a new and exciting part-time opportunity (0.8)? Do you have a passion for working in the not for profit sector for a charity with a great cause? My client is a national charity with around 100 employees that supports families with disabled children. They do this by providing information, advice and support. They aim to bring families together so they can support each other. They campaign to improve their circumstances and for their right to be included and equal in society. The charity is located close to Angel tube station and they go into the office around 1-2 days per week. You will be part of a small but talented HR team, where you will play a key role in providing HR generalist support to the charity over the next 12 months and potentially beyond. You will report to the newly appointed Head of HR where you act as a deputy to them, offering advice and solutions where possible. The purpose of this part-time (0.8)12-month FTC People and Payroll Advisor job is to provide a business partner approach to HR, recruitment and payroll processes. The salary ranges from £40,000 - £45,000 pro rata based on experience. The key duties of the role include: Providing advice and support on ER case work, using up to date policies and legislation to help ensure the right outcome is reached. Reviewing HR policies, making changes and improvements where possible. Overseeing payroll administration, making changes and ensuring the outsourced payroll provider is updated. Advising and supporting recruiting managers to ensure a better and more diverse recruitment process is undertaken. Preparing monthly payroll schedules using information provided by line managers and HR records. Maintaining the HR database (Staffology) and running key reports for the leadership team and line managers. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced CIPD qualified HR Advisor looking for a 4-day per week HR role. You will need to be able to provide both HR and payroll support to a charity as they embark on their new HR strategy. You will need to be able to build strong relationships with employees at all levels along with managing a busy workload.
