We are delighted to partner with a large, established Trust of Secondary schools in the Newcastle and Sunderland areas. They are looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to gain experience in a nurturing teaching role.
Unqualified Teacher – candidate requirements:
* 2.1 or higher in a core academic subject (Sciences, Maths, English, History, Geograghy, MFL etc.) (essential)
* Strong passion for your subject and a desire to teach students about relevant concepts and inspire curiosity and passion for learning
* No formal teaching qualifications required, but any experience or background in your subject- relevant field is a plus
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Confidence in delivering lessons and engaging students with diverse abilities
* A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
* Ability to manage a classroom and work effectively as part of a team
* A commitment to inspiring curiosity and helping students develop their academic knowledge
Unqualified Teacher – role responsibilities:
* Learn to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of various age groups
* Teach students across different disciplines within your subject
* Have excellent understanding of the Secondary curriculum within your subject, and be able to familiarise yourself with course content
* Manage classroom behaviour and implement effective behavioural strategies to create a positive and safe learning environment
* Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve their scientific understanding
* Assist in preparing materials and resources for lessons
* Full-time long-term role offering a salary of up to £600 per week
* Working hours 8.00-4.00pm Mon-Fri
