We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow strategic accounts within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The KAM will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG sales dynamics, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in key account management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional strategies to drive profitability and market share.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
* Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to make data-driven recommendations.
* Monitor stock availability, forecast demand, and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
* Develop and execute joint business plans with key accounts to drive sales and brand visibility.
* Ensure timely resolution of customer issues, complaints, and operational challenges.
* Prepare and present reports on account performance, market insights, and business opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
* Strong understanding of retail, wholesale, and modern trade dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
* Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management software.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and market visits.
