Our team support a variety of social care duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Care Act 2014, and other relevant legislation. The Team support individuals to achieve their personal outcomes, work with unpaid carers as well as other statutory functions, such as adult safeguarding enquiries. Our focus is on supporting people to remain living safe and well in their local communities. The role is varied on a day-to-day basis and allows for a high level of multi-agency working, creativity and autonomy. The work includes application for courts, Continuing Healthcare and adult safeguarding. The team is currently working to a hybrid model, with part-remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs. Once fully trained, our Social Workers will work from the office up to three days each week. This gives our Social Workers a quiet space and plenty of time for reflection whilst still balancing collaborative working and peer support. As such you will be a SWE registered Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and preferably a Practice Educator or working towards this.
