We're looking for a Careers and Apprenticeship Specialist to join a friendly team, working remotely to support the central functions within Aspris!
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Learning and Development team, working alongside our Head of Learning and Development to oversee the Apprenticeship and CPD process across the organisation. This is a remote based role, however, will require travel to our children's homes, schools and colleges, as well as our head office in Leicester.
The role:
* Lead and Line Manage the Aspirational Career and Apprenticeship Coordinator. This will include conducting performance development reviews/one-to-ones and arranging regular team meetings.
* Oversee and coordinate the continuing Professional Development (CPD) process to ensure its successful implementation and ongoing evaluation.
* Develop and implement innovative processes to enhance the CPD experience creating a more streamlined and efficient workflow for colleagues.
* Provide support with the development of Apprenticeship’s and CPD’S for the organisation & identifying new apprenticeship opportunities with the Head of Learning and Development
* Regular reporting to the business regarding Apprenticeship Levy spend, CPD applications, Diploma & Aspirational Careers.
* Act as the main point of contact to all external Apprenticeship providers regarding enrolment of Aspris colleagues onto identified programmes
* Support on the implementation & delivery of Aspirational Careers in line with the Aspris People team strategy ensuring that colleagues can access relevant development through a variety of opportunities such as apprenticeships, qualifications, CPD and programmes
* Responsible for ensuring the invoice process is adhered to, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner, applying scrutiny and accuracy without delay or additional charges, communicating with the accounts department as appropriate.
* Work with the Head of Learning and Development to identify and maximise funding opportunities
* Deliver and manage an apprenticeship course equivalent offering to schools, homes and Colleagues within Scotland & Wales.
