We are looking for a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our clinical team at The Tower School in Essex. As a specialist in speech and language therapy, you will be working collaboratively with the site to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced, and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our young people's needs in line with set Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).
* Work within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures, supporting the integration of the specific service in the day-to-day running of each provision.
* Support the development of individual interventions for pupils, incorporating occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and therapy assistant inputs.
Requirements:
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
* Experience working with complex communication issues related to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties, and associated challenging behaviour
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
