With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe, we are looking for a Transport Manager to play a major role in our Dedicated Fleet team.
We’re open 24/7/365 and can provide customers with a suitable vehicle and highly trained driver focused solely on their delivery. From Sprinter vans to 40 tonne artics, GBA has one of the most modern and technologically advanced fleets in the market. We offer the security of a large, established freight partner operating our own fleet of vehicles with highly trained drivers, combined with a flexible, passionate, and innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Transport, your role will be to oversee the site from both operational and compliance perspectives. As the senior member of the team, both the office and driver teams will report to you. Your responsibilities will encompass customer relations, operational efficiency, and compliance adherence. As the designated site leader in a dynamic transport environment, your influence will be pivotal in developing and supporting your team while maintaining the overall standards of the site and operations. Your commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and effectiveness of our operations.
You:
* 2+ years as a Transport Manager
* CPC qualified (“O” licence holder)
* Excellent leadership skills
* Process driven with an excellent eye for detail
* Experience of accident and disciplinary investigations and appraisals
* A background in P&L, budget responsibility, and working towards KPIs
