McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join their team at our Watson Place development in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
You must have previous experience of working in the UK in a Senior Care position and have a minimum of L2 in Health and Social Care to be considered for this role. McCarthy Stone do not offer sponsorship; we will only be considering UK based applications.
This is not traditional care, this is better!
Base Salary: £14.47 per hour day rate and £11.82 sleeping night rate per hour plus additional pay (see below).
Hours: Flexible (these are to be agreed with the Estate Managers and Operations Manager (includes day and night shifts, week days and weekends).
Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.
Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am.
Our Relief Care Supervisors provide emergency support only to our homeowners between 23:00pm and 07:00am throughout that period.

About you:
* You will live within easy commuting distance of our estate.
* You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
* You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
* Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
* Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
* Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
* Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
