* Salary : £28,000 + Tips

Restaurant: Hertford's most exciting restaurant features an array of creative and delicious canapés and cocktails with a full complement of wines and champagnes, plus outstanding quality dishes. We need a passionate and ambitious experienced Senior CDP preferably located in Hertfordshire to join and lead the team serving amazing quality produce and premium cuisine. As a CDP, you will work in a top-of-the-range kitchen team to deliver consistently excellent standards. If you enjoy being part of a strong independent company with a passion for amazing cuisine, then this will be the right opportunity for you.
As Chef, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty
* Preparing and cooking fresh local food for the restaurant and functions
* Ordering and maintaining stock levels
* Managing and training other chef de parties working with you
The Chef de Partie Requirements:
* Already working as a Chef in a fresh food environment with a minimum of 12 months experience
* NVQ2 or College Qualified
* Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and keen to learn
* Ideal role for someone looking to learn in a busy environment from a talented head chef
* 40+ hours weekly
The ideal Chef de Partie should be:
* Passionate about food and continually pushing standards
* A team player with an outgoing and self-starter attitude
* Enthusiastic about exceeding expectations through delicious food, working alongside the front of house team to deliver great customer service
* A keen eye for detail to deliver excellent standards in every dish served
