Job Description
Our client, a global leader in the food and processing industry, is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager. The role will be based in their Leeds office, reporting to the Director of Projects Engineering and Execution within refrigeration.
The key management priorities for the role are to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within industrial refrigeration.
2. Demonstrable ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
3. Demonstrable experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature with nationwide scope.
4. Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
5. Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
6. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities is vital.
