General KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Merseyside, Liverpool Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per day Job Duties: Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons to Key Stage 2 students Support individual and small groups of students with their learning Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assist in planning and preparing educational materials and resources Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour Supervise students during break times and off-site activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Experience working with children in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum Ability to build rapport with students and work effectively in a team Organisational skills and the ability to multitask Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid training Working Conditions: This role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. The work may involve some physical activity and supervision of students during break times and off-site activities.
